Master's Programmes

Master’s programmes at the Graduate School of Education (GSE) are designed to give working professionals a chance to update and enrich their knowledge and expertise. Our students are practicing teachers, administrators, and university researchers from across the globe.

Studying at GSE means learning from the best. Partnerships with HSE’s other departments, as well as with renowned overseas universities, help create a vibrant, information-rich environment enabling students to unleash their full creative potential by getting immersed into transdisciplinary academic discourse.

Our programmes comply with the latest international standards and requirements, ensuring GSE Master’s students graduate as advanced professionals and visionary leaders, building on unrivalled skills and systems thinking.

Type and Duration 


We offer both full-time and part-time MSc programmes, with delivery options including combined classroom and distance learning. 

A degree normally takes 2–2.5 years to complete.

Designed to best cater for the needs of practitioners, researchers, and administration & policy professionals, this full-time track comprises four MA courses of study each affording a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive and in-depth insights into a given specialist area by completing innovative curricular that feature the latest relevant concepts and applied best practices:
