Master's Programmes


Master’s programmes at the Graduate School of Education (GSE) are designed to give working professionals a chance to update and enrich their knowledge and expertise. Our students are practicing teachers, administrators, and university researchers from across the globe.
 

Studying at GSE means learning from the best. Partnerships with HSE’s other departments, as well as with renowned overseas universities, help create a vibrant, information-rich environment enabling students to unleash their full creative potential by getting immersed into transdisciplinary academic discourse.

Our programmes comply with the latest international standards and requirements, ensuring GSE Master’s students graduate as advanced professionals and visionary leaders, building on unrivalled skills and systems thinking.

Type and Duration 


We offer both full-time and part-time MSc programmes, with delivery options including combined classroom and distance learning. 


A degree normally takes 2–2.5 years to complete.

The track for education administrators focuses on up-to-date theory and practice in organizational and academic management.

Secondary School Leadership

The track for policy makers aims to train professionals for executive careers with state educational agencies or business entities seeking to efficiently implement / upgrade Learning & Development frameworks. 

Evidence-based Educational Policy

Still the one-of-a-kind specialist programme in Russia, our track for measurement & assessment professionals delivers top-notch expertise in social science metrology drawing on the latest international research and advances in the field.
