Graduate School of Education
The Graduate School of Education (GSE) offers students unrivalled opportunities to improve their professional skills and enrich their knowledge through enrolling in our innovative Master’s and Doctoral programmes. The GSE works in conjunction with other departments at the Higher School of Economics, as well as with leading foreign universities.
Though relatively new, the GSE is quickly taking its place as one of the most dynamic and competitive programmes in the country. The GSE trains both education researchers and educational practitioners. All students are included in the research activities at the Institute of Education, providing our graduates with the ability and experience to become leaders in their fields.
The master’s programmes are part-time, two- or three-year programmes designed for dynamic, ambitious professionals working in education. The GSE offers various academic tracks for educators, managers and testing specialists.
The doctoral programmes are full-time, three- or four-year courses of study with a strong focus on independent thesis research. Our students graduate as highly qualified specialists capable of independent research in a wide range of education-related fields and familiar with both domestic and international educational systems.
