Center for University Management  was established in August 2011, as a division of the Institute for Educational Studies  at the HSE.

The aim  ofthe Centre is to study, develop and improve approaches to the management system of higher education.

Objectives of the Centre:
· Implementation of scientific research, expert analysis, consulting activities in the field of institutional management; 
· Providing advice on development and modernization of control systems higher education;
· Participation in the preparation and implementation of government contracts for research.

Our mission is to promote the development of higher education in Russia through the implementation of research and consulting projects for government and non-governmental organizations, agencies, departments, enterprises and other businesses and individuals.

We are pleased to announce that the IV International Conference “University Traditions: a Resource or a Burden?”by the Russian Association of Higher Education Researchers will be held in Moscow on September 26–28, 2013.

III International Conference of the Russian Association of Higher Education Researchers

On October 19-20, 2012, the III International Conference of the Russian Association of Higher Education Researchers will be held in Moscow. The special theme of the conference - “The Birth and Revival of Universities.” The Conference will be devoted to the 20th anniversary of the National Research University Higher School of Economics, and the New Economic School.
