Inequality in Higher Education

Research project “Inequality in Higher Education: Equity, Differentiation and Policy” was launched in 2018 and is structured in two main strands.

The first one is an international project. We aim at untangling the issue of inequality in access to higher education regarding different social groups, stratification of higher education system, and policy regulations. The comprehensive international research focuses on both conceptual development and empirical data, taking into account national contexts. A cross-country comparative book will be the primary product for the project.

The second one is a national project that involves a comprehensive agenda of trajectories towards HE, issues of unequal access to HE, experience within higher education institutions, personal outcomes of HE, and policy regulations within the scope of unequal educational opportunities.
