Nadezhda Knyaginina attended a round table meeting "The Language of the Laws: Complexity and Clarity"

The round table was organized by the committee of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation on the development and promotion of higher education.

Nadezhda Knyaginina gave a presentation on “Potential of Computational Jurisprudence in Legal Analysis: Case of Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Education”. One of the topics which was discussed is the necessity of drawing attention to the growing complexity of the language of the law, as it is becoming increasingly difficult to understand. This is true for both ordinary people as well as professionals in the sphere.
 
The ensuing discussion focused on seeking possible solutions and compromises to make the language of the law more comprehensible.
