Tatiana Khavenson, a research fellow at the International Laboratory, gave a presentation at the 14th annual conference of the Association for Educational Assessment (AEA), held from November 6-9th at the Sorbonne in Paris. The AEA is the main association for European specialists working on educational assessment. The association’s conference is one of the largest and most important in the field, with all presentations passing through a rigorous selection process.

This year, the key topics were international surveys, policy borrowing and national assessment. Tatiana gave a presentation on the Unified State Exam’s validity in Russia during the session on improving quality in examinations.
