The visit of Prashant Loyalka

Assistant Professor of the Stanford University and Research Fellow at the International Laboratory for Educational Policy, Prashant Loyalka is visiting Moscow from 8th to 18th of October.

Prashant Loyalka is a specialist in the economics of education whose research focuses on (a) ways to improve the educational outcomes of disadvantaged populations; (b) the quality and equity of access to upper secondary and higher education; (c) and issues related to education and health. He earned a Ph.D. in International Comparative Education as well as Bachelor’s and Masters degrees in Economics from Stanford. He was previously an Assistant Professor at the China Institute for Educational Finance Research, Peking University.

Several meetings on the current projects will be held during his visit. He is also giving a master class «Quasi-experimental Design in Educational Study» for students of «Measurement in Psychology and Education» master’s program, Institute of Education HSE.
