The opening session of the 2025 International PhD Seminar in Education focused on the multifaceted issue of student well-being and the significant role of parental expectations in shaping the educational environment. The seminar was attended by graduate students from China and Russia, which facilitated the international exchange of ideas and research on the issue: “Student Well-Being and Parental Expectations”
The third session of the International PhD Seminar in Education was successfully held on November 25. The seminar provided a platform for participants to engage in meaningful discussions and exchange ideas on pressing issues surrounding gender inequalities in education and the labor market. Meghna Khurania from Jawaharlal Nehru University, India, and Margarita Kiryushina from HSE University, Russia, delivered insightful presentations, highlighting the significance of addressing these challenges globally.
The second session of the International PhD Seminar in Education was successfully held on October 28th as part of the joint research project "Transformation of Doctoral Education in China and Russia," providing a platform for participants to discuss and exchange ideas on current trends in doctoral education. International Doctoral Seminar in Education | Doctoral studies and academic career brought together similar doctoral studies in education, demonstrating growing interest in the topic.
The first academic meeting organized by the Institute of Education took place on September 20th. The international seminar was devoted to various aspects of lifelong learning.
