About the Laboratory

The Laboratory for Digital Transformation of Education studies ways in which digital technologies are changing the education system since 2019. Our team researches the emergence of digital technologies and their role in the development of education, analyzes the effectiveness of digital products and solutions, elaborating strategies on how to manage various processes at national and regional levels, as well as forindividual organizations. 

Furthermore, the laboratory participates in the development of governmental policies. Our members are a part of expert groups of such federal projects as Digital Educational Environment, Personnel for the Digital Economy, and the Monitoring of Schools' Digital Transformation in Russia.

We also coordinate the Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Education working group for the Artificial Intelligence Technical Committee, which develops GOST standards in this area.

Overall, our mission is to assess the qualitative change of Russian education in the digital environment and develop strategies for digital transformation of education management.
