Summer is the best time to share your research results
CHER conference 2017 was organised in Jyväskylä, Finland. The central topic of the conference was devoted to HEIs as political institutions. The keynote presentations delivered by Imanol Ordorika, Brian Pusser, Susan Lee Robertson examined major political, economic and cultural changes taking place within and across European countries, with significant implications for the relationship between the state and higher education.
Natalia Maloshonok shared the results of her study on time allocation and student engagement in Russian, Chinese, and US research universities. Irina Shcheglova presented the research devoted to the development of students' intercultural competence at research universities. Tatiana Semenova took part in ESA conference which was held in Athens, Greece. She reported the results of her study 'Metaphors about MOOC power: systematic metaphor analysis'
