Professional Postgraduate Studies: International Experience and Russian Context

New article by the Center for Sociology of Higher Education in collaboration with colleagues from Lobachevsky University of Nizhny Novgorod.

Recently, the possibility of introducing professional degrees has been increasingly discussed in Russia. In a new article with colleagues from University of Nizhnii Novgorod (Bedny B. Rybakov N. and Khodeeva N.) employees of the Center for Sociology of Higher Education Saule Bekova and Evgenii Terentyev analyze foreign experience in implementing such programs: in response to what requests and needs they appeared, how they were implemented, in what formats exist. In addition, the authors consider the existing opportunities and obstacles to the development of professional postgraduate studies in Russia.
