HSE's Institute of Education has Begun Working on the Commentary to the Federal Law on Education in the Russian Federation
One of the main results of the «Week of Educational Rights» was the decision to prepare a new commentary to the Federal Law on Education. It will be the first bilingual commentary in Russian law based on a detailed analysis of the international law, the decisions of the European court for human rights and the legislation of the foreign countries.
On the 3d of October 2017 there was an expert workshop in order to discuss the work plan. The team leaders: professor Jan de Grof, Academic Supervisor of the Center for Education Law HSE; Szymon Jankiewicz, Director of the Center; Nadezhda Knyaginina, Junior Research Fellow; Oksana Chernenko, Director of the innovative education; and Professor Anatoly Kapustin, the First Vice of the Institute of Comparative Law under the Russian Federation’s Government.
On the 5 of October 2017 the work was continued by the team of authors – researchers from the Center for Education Law, HSE Faculty of Law, Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation and from the Moscow State Pedagogical University.
Materials’ examination will be carried out by Into Richter, Professor of the University of Paris; Pablo Meix Cereceda, Professor of the Roma Tre University and by other foreign researchers.
Publication of the book is scheduled for early 2019.
