Szymon Jankiewicz Presented the Report "Donations that Work. School Endowment Funds in Russia and Abroad: Legal Aspects"

A seminar for headmasters of the Moscow Region "School endowment (endowment fund) as a tool for financial development of an educational organization and a way to attract investment" was held In the Reception Hall of the Government House of the Moscow Region in Krasnogorsk.

School endowment fund: how to collect the first three million rubles, how to choose a controlling company and what to spend income from endowment capital on. These and other issues were discussed with headmasters of the Moscow Region.

The world’s practice shows that the endowment fund is more about the school’s communication with parents and graduates and creating networks of grateful school graduates, not about additional funding. It is not by chance that a lot of questions arise about the models of fundraising, the importance of philanthropists, entrepreneurs and the local community.
