The XVIII International Scientific and Practical Conference «Trends in the Development of Education: Global Challenges and Unequal Opportunities» was held.

Nadezhda Knyaginina presented the results of a study by the Laboratory of Educational Law of the HSE Institute of Education on the provision of Russian schoolchildren with gadgets.

The XVIII International Scientific and Practical Conference «Trends in the Development of Education: Global Challenges and Unequal Opportunities» was held.

«It turned out that the only gadget that almost every student in the country has is a smartphone. And it is its use that is now prohibited in the educational process. This is a wrong decision. We have to be pragmatic: if our problem is the lack of computer equipment at school and children, we need to use what we have. That is, smartphones. And we have to accept reality as it is and think about the future.: not to set regular regulatory restrictions, as done in the Sanitary and epidemiological station, but to teach the child how to use his gadgets».
