Moscow State Pedagogical University hosted a coordination meeting on the 2-4th of October, 2017. The topic of the meeting was "Introducing Modules on Law and Rights in Programs of Teacher Training and Educational Sciences: a Contribution to Building Rights-Based Education Systems in Countries in Transition".
During the meeting on the topic of Education and Culture as basis for national identity the working group was discussing problems of introducing mechanisms of personalized financing of additional education in the regions.
The meeting was focused on a question concerning the adoption of the new version of the school regulations.
Public hearings on the topic “Problems of schools with poor learning outcomes and schools functioning in adverse social conditions and how to overcome them” were held in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
Szymon Jankiewicz, Director of the Center, presented a report on the “Legal regulation and support of gifted students in the Russian Federation”.
Members of the round table discussed questions concerning modern standards of managing the educational systems on the national level and in metropolitan areas, best practices of improving the education’s quality and possibilities and perspectives of using international experience to strengthen the capital’s leading position in the education’s field.
Members of the Centre for Applied Legal Research Szymon Jankiewicz and Nadezhda Knyaginina participated in the Global University Summit BRICS. The Summit is an official event of Russia’s chairmanship in BRICS 2015-2016. The forum was held by MGIMO, MSU, RUDN and MISIS.
