The research results of International Laboratory for Education Policy Analysis will be presented during the XVIth International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development
The 2015 Annual Conference of the Comparative and International Education Society was held in Washington, D.C. March 8-13. The conference program includes eight presentations co-authored by The International Laboratory for Education Policy Analysis staff.
Laboratory staff will continue to perform field studies among Russian schools, aimed to explain the features of the administration and directors work in modern schools.
Elizaveta Chernenko, an intern of the International Laboratory for Education Policy Analysis at the HSE Institute of Education, and Andrey Zakharov, Deputy Head of the Laboratory have presented the results of «Analysis of the Factors of Education Quality» research.
Galina Larina has participated in the International observers TIMSS Advanced training seminar which was organized on 28th of January in Amsterdam.
Among the authors of the book are the supervisor of the International Laboratory of Analysis of Educational policy Martin Carnoy, leading researcher Prashant Loyalka, scientific director of the Institute of Education Isak Froumin and director of the Information Resources Maria Dobryakova.
On August, 25 in Narva (Estonia) a traditional Pedagogical Conference was held. This year the theme of the Conference was to investigate the PISA («Research PISA: mirror of Estonian education")
The school was attended by members of the International Laboratory of the Analysis of Educational policy- Elizaveta Chernenko and Andrei Zakharov.
