On 17-18 February, 2012 within the activities of the International laboratory for Education Policy Analysis at the Institute for Educational Studies series of advanced training seminars under the Ninth International scientific and practical conference "Trends in Education: Different but Equal. How to Fill the Gap in Access to Qualitative Education" were conducted with the participation of foreign specialits.

Series of advanced training seminars “Research methodology and experimental research methods” were conducted by Associate Professor at Stanford University Eric Bettinger. Seminars were carried out during the period 12-22 September, 2011.

The Study Has Revealed Slacker Lecturers

On September 13th 2011 a seminar by the HSE Institute for Educational Studies took place. Martin Karnoy, Professor at the University of Stanford and Academic Supervisor at the HSE International Laboratory for Educational Policy Research, spoke on ‘The Low Achievement Trap: Comparing Schools in Botswana and South Africa’.
