749 Applications
from 18 countries were submitted for the third Innovation in Education Contest. The number of people wishing to take part in the competition increases year by year: in 2014 – 577 applications were received, and in 2015 – 678.
This year 30 projects were selected for the semi-finals. Those involved will attend a Summer Accelerator School in Moscow, where they’ll have an opportunity to develop their projects further.
The finals are to be held in September, at the international conference on new technologies in education, EdCrunch. The winner will receive a travel grant they can use to present their project anywhere in the world, and finalists will win prizes in special categories such as International Work Experience and Financial Support.
