IOE Bolsters Partnership with Peking University
This spring notches another important milestone for the Institute’s partnership & networking agenda as a Memorandum of Cooperation has recently been signed between IOE and the Department of Education at Peking University.
As part of the agreement, IOE and Peking University have committed to deploy joint mobility programs for the faculty and students, pursue cooperation in multiple areas of R&D, and to more extensively contribute across other key dimensions of their academic and cultural agenda.
With its institutional history spanning more than a century back to 1898, Peking University is one of China’s top-tier multiversities and a member of the country’s C9 League, an alliance on nine leading universities that have acted as the key powerhouses to promote excellence and innovation in Chinese higher education. Peking University is now placed 31st in World University Rankings and it is listed 30th in QS World University Rankings.
The Department of Education at Peking University is a training and research center that builds on multifaceted expertise brought by its divisions and labs in such areas as national and global higher education, economics of education, digital transformations in education, qualitative education research, human capital studies, education internationalization, business education, etc.
