How should international education data be interpreted? What might we overlook if we focus only on country rankings? These questions were at the heart of the HSE Open Seminar on Education, led by Professor Kit-Tai Hau from CUHK.

In September and October, Diana Koroleva, Scientific director of the Laboratory for Educational Innovation Research at the Institute of Education, participated in several significant international academic and policy-oriented events in Europe and Asia. These included the CEPE 2025 Conference in Rome, the G20 Education Forum and the APEC International Forum on Lifelong Vocational Skills Training, both of which were held in Beijing.

On Monday, December 8, the Institute of Education hosted a delegation from the Institute of Education Theory, part of the China National Academy of Educational Sciences (CNAES), for a welcome meeting and exchange. Building on years of collaboration, the two institutes reaffirmed their shared research interests and discussed new opportunities for joint projects.
